Senior Moving / Downsizing

If you're considering moving into an assisted living or independent living community, downsizing your existing home can help make that transition much smoother.

Our service begins with a free in-home consultation so we can custom fit our services to your needs.

We help you through the tough decision process of what to keep and what to send to a new home. For the items to be kept we pack them and arrange for movers to transport them to your new home. Our team places the items in your new home so it is walk-in - ready when you alive.
We offer two options for the items that are not moved or a combination of both options. The first option is to find your treasures a new home through an online only auction. The second option is to donate them. Our combination of both these options allows you an opportunity to offset expenses for those items that sell at the online only auction and a tax break for the items donated. There is no public viewing for the online auction so your life remains private and stress free.
Once you're move is complete we handle the emptying and cleaning of the home.
All our services are transparent with the best interest of you, our client, at the fore front. We have a contract for the services to protect both parties.

We handle your estate or that of a loved one with discretion, care, and the personal touch that affords you the time to reflect and make undistracted decisions during your time of loss and transition.

Our service begins with a free in-home consultation so we can custom fit our services to your needs allowing you the opportunity to concentrate on other matters while we move you and find new homes for your cherished treasures.

We inventory the estate once you have decided what is to be liquidated. Our inventory process entails photographing the items in a professional setting, cataloging them, and providing a description on each item. Once this is done the items will be listed in an online auction.
For valuables of high dollar items, reserves are set and appraisals can be done to make sure that the best price is received for these items. The online auction is a very discrete and private means of re homing your treasures as the general buyers view and purchase the items online only. At the end of the auction each purchaser is provided an address where they come to pick up their newly acquired treasures.
For those items that remain unsold you have the choice to donate them or keep them.
Once the online auction is complete and the residual items relocated we will clean the home so that it is ready for your Realtor if it is to be listed for sale.

My husband John and myself are the owners and project managers. Marshall Estate Liquidators, Inc. is a family owned and operated company. We are a young energetic company but our background is extensive. We are a family with over thirty years of fire and emergency medical service to our community.

I was born in Colorado and grew up in Belize. I spent the last eight years as a paramedic in emergency medical services and support to our local fire department. I Kathy and John Marshall, Owners Marshal Estate Liquidators and Estate Sales have seen and comforted families in their darkest moments and understand the toll the loss of a loved one can have.

The service we offer is very important to me and a personal one. I have had the daunting task of liquidating a loved one's estate and transitioning a senior parent into a new home all while having to make important decisions and arrangements.

John was born in Delaware but spent the majority of my life in the Houston area. He is a career firefighter. He has seen and comforted families in their darkest moments and understand the toll the loss of a loved one can have. My wife and I saw a great need in our community for a service that put the needs and emotions of our senior citizens as a priority during a time in their lives when they experience the greatest stress and uncertainty of transition. Seeing the smiles on our clients faces when we are able to coordinate a stress free move and they alive at their new homes is especially rewarding.

Together, we are able to find new homes for their cherished treasures and help them transition into a bright new future. I am blessed to be able to work with and for such special people.
