    Purpose: Join us Saturday, October 23, as we head to Fredericksburg, Texas for the annual Food and Wine Fest. The festival features guest chefs, 50 specialty booths, 25 wineries and 100 different wines. Your fee will include transportation there and back, admission to the festival, souvenir wine glass, wine tastings, 5 sessions of Cooking school, food samples, music and much more. We will be leaving San Marcos at 10:30 AM and will arrive in Fredericksburg around 12:30. We will arrive back in San Marcos at 7:30 PM. Trip cost is $40 per person. Registration begins August 16th and ends on October 4th. For more information or to register call (512) 393-8400 or go by the Parks and Recreation Main Office at 401 E. Hopkins or the San Marcos Activity Center at 501 E. Hopkins. You must fill out a trip liability release form when you register or prior to getting on the bus.
